Haley Tisone
Determined is one of many words that would describe Haley Tisone. She is dedicated to getting good grades in school, prominent about succeeding in golf, and passionate about her job.

Haley does twenty hours of community service every year to help out our community. She is currently working hard to become a member of the National Honors Society here at Canfield High school.

“I helped young girls learn to play lacrosse, before I hurt my rotator cuff from playing golf,” said Tisone.

Tisone was apart of the high school golf team. She was a junior team captain, all while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. She then had to overcome an injury that was unexpected.

“ I tore my rotator cuff sophomore year during the season and I had to watch my team play at sectionals and districts without me,” said Tisone.

Although Tisone had this injury, it made her more motivated to have a comeback her junior year.

“ I was so excited that I got to lead the team to first at the Lakeview Invitational with the highest score out of the whole team, I’ve never been so proud,” said Tisone.

Tisone also works at Angenetta's. She got the job at just 15, and works very hard to save up for her future.

“Working there has helped me become who I am today, by helping me learn to be more extroverted and improve my communication skills,” said Tisone.

In conclusion to her scholastic achievements, her family is a priority. She has a younger sister who looks up to her. Tisone tries to be the best role model she can be for her.

“ My little sister means the world to me, so I want to set a good example for her when she grows up,” Tisone concluded.
