Bridget Durkin
Bridget Durkin is very excited to be a high school senior because she is ready to start her life in college. She has been looking forward to graduating high school since freshman year.

“ I am excited and nervous to start college. I just want to get out of the Canfield bubble. I want to meet new people and try new things. I am excited for all the new experiences.”

She plans to attend Cincinnati University to major in nursing. This has always been Durkin's dream job because her mom is a nurse. Durkin has always wanted to follow in her mother's footsteps.

“I visited Cincinnati and I fell in love with it. The campus is very beautiful and the university is a perfect distance from home. I have always wanted to go away for college, I really never wanted to go to a college close to home.”

Durkin is unlike other high school seniors because she actually likes school. She loves learning new things everyday.

“I love school because it gives me the opportunity to see and talk to different people that I usually don’t hang out with after school.”

She maintains at 3.6 GPA so she has high hopes to get scholarship money. Durkin works hard in school and she pushes herself everyday.

“After college I want to be independent and not to worry about money. I want to be able to live comfortably and not have to worry about my bank account.”
