The Cardinal

“I care a lot about people and I’m very aware of what is going on around me,” Annabelle Scianna, a junior at Canfield High School said.

Annabelle plays on the Canfield tennis team and sings in the One Octave Higher ensemble. She has an extensive interest in astrology and loves learning about the effects of different crystals. Scianna has a passion for writing and has been creating new stories ever since she can remember. She hopes to major in journalism and media at the University of Colorado, but, “In a dream world, I would be a stand up comedian,” she said.

One of the most important things about Annabelle is that she loves to make people laugh.

“Making people laugh makes me feel happy when I'm not in the best state of mind, It makes me feel like I'm doing something good for other people and that's all I’ve ever wanted to do”, Scianna elaborated.

She has been watching Saturday Night Live since she was eight years old and has always wanted to go on the show to be a part of it. She finds this unrealistic considering the, “crippling debt that the nation is currently in, I would not be able to support myself,” she somnley stated.

Annabelle’s intuition, dynamic personality, and dependability allows her to not only be a great person, but a great friend. She is always there for the people she loves, whether it be with a joke to raise spirits or a shoulder to cry on. She cares deeply for those in her life and will go to the absolute end of the earth to make them happy.
