Alyson Gonda
Alyson Gonda is a current member of canfield high school. As a junior she already has her life planned out for after highschool. She has many hopes and dreams for her future. Gonda is also a respectful family figure.

Gonda’s dream is to live in Los Angeles, California after high school. She hopes to start a family with a professional football player, while being an anesthesiologist herself. Gonda has wanted to be an anesthesiologist since her freshman year because she wants to be wealthy.

”If I don’t have to work, I would like to be a stay at home mom to spend more time with my family,” said Gonda.

Since we are in the middle of a pandemic, Gonda wears a face mask as much as she can out of respect for others, especially her Nana.

Alyson said, “Wearing a mask isn’t my favorite thing. I wish we didn’t have to wear one, but I don’t want to pass the Coronavirus along to anyone I love.”

Since she is young, Alyson isn’t worried about getting the virus and believes it wouldn't affect her because of her age. The only thing she is worried about is being a carrier of it then giving the virus to others, like her Nana.

Basketball has been a part of Alyson’s life for as long as she could remember, until last February. Alyson had a surgery on her right foot. This surgery affected her ability to play the sport she loved, basketball.

Gonda hoped to come back and play her senior year but she has another surgery this spring on her other foot. Therefore, her basketball career is over. She wishes she would play but now she is happy there is more time to get school work done.
