Most teens who are into sports tend to have that drive and motivation and in that case Aaron Sternthal has those tendencies.

He loved the idea of football when he was younger he said, “I remember how fun it was to watch so I decided to give it a try and ever since fifth grade I’ve had a passion for playing the sport.”

Sternthal said, “I love the whole concept of the game. From making tackles to scoring touchdowns or getting an interception.”

So far in this year's 2020-2021 season, Canfield is off to a good start at 3-0.

About this year's season, he said, “We're a good team but not a great team yet. There's always things to work on to get better and that's what we're going to continue to do. Get better everyday and always push one another to the next level.”

I asked Aaron how he had felt being a senior and this being his last year of high school.

“I definitely have mixed emotions about being a senior. It’s a bittersweet feeling. I'm happy to be able to move on to college and be fully independent but I'm going to miss seeing my friends all the time because we all are like family and were with each other almost everyday,” he said.

Being a senior Aaron tend to have mixed emotions because most seniors are glad to go to college but at the same time they are disappointed that their high school lives will be over and continue on with life.
