The Cardinal

Isabella Audia
Isabella Audia has always seen herself as an outgoing person, and its reflected in the multiple activities she takes part of here at Canfield High School.

Audia does not limit herself to basic choir. She also sings with the all girls’ group, One Octave. Being chosen as section leader of the second sopranos was a very important moment for her.

“It felt good because it meant my director recognized my hard work,” she said.

Not only will this Junior be seen singing with One Octave, but also along the sidelines of every varsity boys’ basketball game, cheering the team on to victory.

It may be her first year on varsity but not her first time proudly sporting a Canfield Cheerleader uniform. She has been a cheerleader for 11 years.

In addition to cheerleading and One Octave, Isabella also takes part in drama.

“Being in Shrek in eighth grade was obviously really special because I was a lead, Fiona, but I also really liked being in Singing In the Rain this year because having it rain on stage was magical,” said Audia.

Of course, Isabella still gets nervous when tryouts roll around.

Audia said, “I still get nervous because anything can happen.”
