People see her as an athlete and a scholar, but did you know that she has broken 10 bones, has moved 4 times and loves to read in her free time? Talking about Camryn’s motivations, goals and feelings has shown that there is more, than her kind personality, that meets the eye.

Kindness.

Camryn has always found a way to talk to people and make them feel comfortable. One of the most important things to her, is to always be kind and to help others.

Cam said, “If I were famous, I would would want to make a big difference in regards to the world, like helping children or those who are less fortunate.”

With this in mind, Cam believes herself to be unique or different from the typical high school girl. She doesn’t worry too much about that other people think of her.

“In high school, I've noticed, that it’s a really big thing with girls. I've never truly cared about popularity or about what others have to say. If I am to be honest, I am perfectly fine with a nice small group of friends, because that’s all that really matters.”

In terms of Camryn’s athletic career, she plays soccer, runs track and absolutely loves it! She definitely wants to play in college and she said she has been in contact with schools, in the recruiting process.  Concerning her athletic goals, Cam said that she really wants to break the school’s record in the 400 and the 800 and qualify for state.

“This has always been my motivation to push harder, because I know that it won’t happen, if I don’t do anything. I fear not trying.”
