Brandon Stratton
Brandon is a looking forward to his senior year, along with having more responsibility and leadership at Canfield High School. This year Stratton is participating with band, speech and debate, and robotics.

Stratton is excited to be taking classes such as woodshop, engineering graphics, Intro to Computer Science and journalism. “I like learning about computers and coding, and just working with technology overall”. At home he likes to play videos games and enjoys learning the equipment. Stratton is also starting his fourth year in the robotics club. He likes to get a hands on experience to work with technology with his friends. He says that it would help him with a possible career path. “I’m interested in majoring in engineering or going into trade school.”

This year will be his eighth year of band. “I started playing tuba in 5th grade then switched to alto saxophone in 6th grade, and then tenor sax from 7th grade until now.” He enjoys being in the marching band, especially being with his friends and playing the stand tunes. He’s also interested in joining a community band when he is graduated from high school.

Finally, for speech and debate he is onto his third year of congress. “I enjoy to speak and debate topics and also travelling to different schools and meeting other people around the state is a fun experience.”  In congress he writes speeches on different topics, such as whether you’re for or against a bill to cut federal sport stadium subsidies.”
