That moment that everything has been leading up to. Your heart is pounding. You’re about to cry. Then everything ends in a startling instant, as sudden as a spark. You hold your breath, not wanting to admit it’s over, but you know that you have to accept reality. You slowly exhale and lay back, sinking into your couch or mattress. Ghostly images of the finale linger behind your glazed-over eyes and dance on the ceiling. It’s natural to mourn, so you embrace the sadness. You’ll get over it in five minutes anyway.

You turn on your phone and begin the search for your next conquest.

It’s time to find your next show to watch on Netflix. To give you some help choosing your next Netflix show.

Emily’s Personal Recommendation:

I have seen a lot of shows, but my two favorites are Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Stranger Things. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D is a Marvel show that at first follows Agent Phil Coulson and his team Daisy Johnson, Melinda May, Grant Ward, Jemma Simmons, and Leo Fitz as they fight against evil in the organization of S.H.I.E.L.D. There are four seasons on Netflix currently, and the fifth season is currently airing. The other show is Stranger Things, which is a Netflix Original that currently has two seasons. Pretty much everyone has heard of the show, but it really deserves all of the hype it receives. It follows the family and friends of Will Byers in their attempt to locate him, as he has gone missing. I watched each season of this show within the week of its release because it is that good.

Isabella’s Personal Recommendations:

As an self-proclaimed Netflix enthusiast, two show that I highly recommend are Friends and The End of the F**king World.  Friends is a 90s sitcom that follows the lives of six friends living in New York City.  Other than the flip-phones and the questionable hairstyles the show never feels dated. You will, without a doubt, be able to identify with at least one of the characters or their situations. Friends is my absolute favorite show in the entire world and it is the ligitement soundtrack to my life. The End of the F**king World is a newer Netflix Original.  The characters do swear and there is content that may be considered controversial or inappropriate.  However, if you don’t mind this, the story is really moving and the overarching character development is so well done. The soundtrack perfectly mirrors the eerie feel of the show.  Overall, the show captured the story of the characters so well. Their growth throughout the eight episodes felt so real. Honestly, kudos to the actors and producer for putting together a quality, and enjoyable show.

Now that you have seen all of these show options, it should be easy to find the next thing to watch. If none of these seem interesting to you, Netflix has plenty more options listed on their website at just a couple of clicks away. As long as you keep your grades up, get enough sleep, continue getting sunshine, and maybe let your family know that you exist, you should be just fine to watch a few hours of Netflix a day…or ten.
